Integrated playout solution for Indian DTH platform
29 June, 2009 - 07:45Harris Corporation has installed a range of interoperable broadcast products spanning its high-definition solutions portfolio at Videocon, a leading direct-to-home (DTH) network operator in India. The Harris system provides a complete integrated playout solution for Videocon's operations in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, which will support the distribution of more than 150 channels.
The fully integrated Harris system includes the NEXIO AMP advanced media platform for recording and playout, Platinum router, Predator II multiviewers, the NetVX video networking system, Videotek test and measurement devices, Inscriber TitleOne broadcast and production graphics system and the CCS Navigator control and monitoring application, as well as a host of video/audio processing and distribution products.
