NETIA builds momentum in Africa and Middle East
2 February, 2010 - 08:55Over the past 12 months, NETIA has increased its presence in Africa and the Middle East, where new and existing customers have demonstrated their confidence in the company's solutions and contributed to its 16% growth over the course of 2009. NETIA's success in Africa and the Middle East is reflected through a series of sizeable projects in Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, and Ethiopia.
"These encouraging results are the fruit of long-term relationships and a superb process of exchange with our clients in this area, with the main objective being to forge bonds of trust and to establish lasting connections through which every party finds success," said NETIA CEO, Christophe Carniel.
New NETIA implementations include preserving audio archives and the installation of a complete radio automation system for Saudi Arabia's Radio Riyadh, as well as local archiving at Radio Jeddah and an installation in Mecca. NETIA also provided systems for digitising all radio networks in Algeria and was deeply involved in the launch of Radio Tunis Chaine Internationale in Tunisia (RTCI). Additionally, the company recently announced that it teamed with Radio Fana, a leading Ethiopian media group, on an archiving initiative that included digitising the broadcaster's media assets and upgrading its broadcast infrastructure with NETIA's Radio-Assist. In Morocco, the company provided solutions key to the launch of a new radio broadcast chain.
"A key element in our business model is the careful analysis of our clients' needs," said Mustapha Rezzoug, product director at NETIA. "Building on this knowledge and understanding of our clients, we systematically adapt our solutions to their specific requirements and provide advice, training, and support in helping them meet their workflow goals."
