UK industry first - major terrestrial channels live online

Zattoo, the live TV to PC platform, has significantly extended its channel line up in the UK, showing all five UK terrestrial channels online via one media player for the first time ever. As well as the leading UK channels, Zattoo will also live-stream the latest financial news from Bloomberg, children's programming from Cbeebies and special interest channels such as AutoMoto TV and The Poker Channel.

Users can download the Zattoo media player to their desktops or laptops from www.zattoo.com and personalise their viewing experience through the electronic programme guide (EPG) and channel manager functions.

Zattoo is a one-stop-shop for online TV viewers - unlike other ‘island' services users only have to go through one download process to be able to watch multiple channels. It completely replicates the traditional TV viewing experience online.

For brands, Zattoo offers an advertising solution with five second video slots available in the buffering zone when users switch channels. A trackable button function is also available which takes users through to a specific area, such as a brands dedicated landing page.

The UK channel launch will be followed by other planned European, US and Asian market entries throughout 2008.
