In March 2010, Fujifilm Corporation announced that it had decided to absorb its wholly-owned direct subsidiary Fujinon Corporation, Saitama, Japan, as of 1 July 2010. With that Fujifilm Corporation became the legal successor of Fujinon Corporation.

BSkyB (Sky) has awarded Grass Valley the contract for the key live production tools for its new sustainable broadcast facility in West London. The contract includes 20 LDK 8000 Elite WorldCam multi-format HD cameras and five Kayenne video production centres. The Grass Valley equipment supports Sky's drive for operational flexibility as well as the highest possible high definition quality.

Megahertz (MHz) has designed and provided the engineering planning to the Narne Group for its recent file-based 24-hour English news channel. These facilities, based in Hyderabad, include a single studio with production control room, a master control room and a central apparatus room housing the entire infrastructure requirements for the news channel. This installation was completed in association with MHz’s local partner, Shaf Broadcast Pvt. Ltd, an established supplier of solutions to the digital content creation industry in India.

Calrec Audio has announced it will discontinue production of analogue audio consoles from 30 November 2010. Until then, the company is offering an opportunity to make final purchases of its S2, C2, and M3 analogue consoles as well as modules and card assemblies.
